Gusztáv Hámos’ 1989: The Real Power of TV at 18.00 and Harun Farocki and Andrei Ujică’s Videograms of a Revolution at 19.00 will be screened as part of the exhibition subREAL. Hamos’ video work deals with media censorship during Communist-era Hungary. Videograms of a Revolution is a documentary film about the revolution in Romania in December 1989 and compiles amateur footage, news footage and excerpts from the Bucarest TV studio overtaken by demonstrators as part of the revolution.
