SALT Interpretation invites high school teachers to Educator Open House, Tuesday, October 2, 16.30 at SALT Beyoğlu.
Designed to provide information about programs for high school groups at the institution’s two locations, SALT Beyoğlu and SALT Galata in the Fall semester of the 2012-2013 academic year, Educator Open Houses are also an opportunity to get valuable feedback from educators and exchange ideas about potential partnerships and collaborative projects. Teachers will join SALT Interpretation staff for a tour of SALT Beyoğlu’s upcoming exhibition, Hassan Khan, followed by a question and answer session around how teachers and students can get involved in the program.
An essential part of SALT’s programming is developing ongoing, collaborative partnerships with schools, community and civic organizations through its Interpretation Program. SALT Interpretation is free, and seeks to engage young people through exhibition tours, workshops, moving image programs and artist-led collaborative projects. The mission of SALT Interpretation is to ensure that all students have access to forums for creative and experiential learning, open dialogue and critical thinking.
