The story of renowned photographer Sebastião Salgado is narrated in the documentary chronicling his travels across the continents. In the footsteps of an ever-changing humanity he eventually came to witness some of the major events of our recent history; international conflicts, starvation and exodus.
Accompanied during Salgado’s latest travels, his photographer son Juliano Ribeiro Salgado and director/photographer Wim Wenders were inspired to make a documentary that illustrates his everyday life. What they also created was a unique story of father and son.
